- Well that's debatable. But, you may be able to get a deal on a Courier
- either through a USR upgrade program, or a new program they have
- extended to user groups to get Courier V.Everythings for about $256 each.

- This is simply not true. The modem to modem speed is the bottle-neck
- which limits speed if you have your DTE rate and your system parameters
- set properly. The only exception would be if you were transmitting extremely
- sparce data which would compress highly (say 6:1 or more) where the uncompressed
- data stream exceeded the highest DTE rate you could set on most serial ports
- (normally 115200) -- but it is highly unusual to encounter such data in the real world.

- Also, the Courier now has 33.6 capability, so with an excellent phone
- connection to another USR or other 33.6 modem, you may get connects
- above 28.8.
